  There aren’t too many Pokemon games that evoke as much nostalgia as Pokemon Yellow does. In fact, after finishing the newer Pokemon games (as well as a couple of homebrews) on GBA4iOS, I immediately went to work on a copy of Yellow.

  If you’re not familiar with the game, it is technically a souped-up version of Pokemon Red & Blue. What makes this game unique is that it was the first to feature a Pokemon (Pikachu) accompanying the player as they explored the game world (and catch Pokemon of course). Getting StartedWith the game being one of the most critically acclaimed and popular in the series, it’s inclusion in GBA4iOS is to be expected. Once you’re able to download it using GBA4iOS’ in-app browser, you can immediately start playing the game as if it was 1998 all over again.This time would be different though considering that you won’t need a Game Shark to enable cheats to get unlimited money, PP, as well as your favorite Pokemon. What’s great about Pokemon Yellow is that you’re basically limited to using just Game Shark codes which are a lot easier to keep track.

  In addition, there are numerous cheats available for Pokemon Yellow unlike some homebrews as well as other games released after it. The Pokemon Yellow Cheat CodesAs you’ve probably read with my previous posts about Pokemon cheats, I usually start off with some that I believe are essential in making your playthrough as easy as possible.

  Unlimited Money – 019946d3This is really one of the most useful cheats that you can use in the game (or in any Pokemon game for that matter). As long as this is activated, you’re guaranteed to have an easier time finishing the game even if you the other cheats on this list are not active. Free Master Balls – 01017CCFOther than money, Poke Balls are the next most important commodity that you’ll need in the game. However, Poke Balls have limitations and you can’t really rely on them when you’re trying to catch high level or rare Pokemon. For this, you’ll need Master Balls.

  Now you can purchase these using your infinite/unlimited money cheat or you can also use the Free Master Balls cheat code below. No Random Battles – 01033bd1Running into tall grass is inevitable but with this cheat code enabled you’ll never have to worry about random encounters. Encounter CodesNow that you’ve got the essential starter cheat codes, next up would be the fun part: catching strong Pokemon. Before we actually proceed though, make sure that you deactivate the No Random Battles code that you activated earlier. Level ModifierThis isn’t really necessary but you might want to modify the level of a wild Pokemon that you encounter (and eventually catch). You’ll need to activate this code together with the specific Pokemon encounter code (see some examples below).

  Take note that if you go this route then you might as well set the maximum level to 190.Encounter Level 190 Pokemon – 01BE26D1 The Dream Team. Seriously, having these Pokemon in your team is guaranteed to help you beat all the gym leaders in no time. These are just suggestions though so make sure to check out other Pokemon that you might want on your team.

  It would be advisable to use the free Master Balls that you bought for these Pokemon. Even though their levels are the same with (or even lower than) your Pokemon, they’ll still resist being captured by normal Poke Balls. Articuno – 014ad7cfZapdos – 014bd7cfMoltres – 0149d7cfMewtwo – 0183d7cfMew – 0115d7cfPikachu-Specific CodesAs you probably noticed, I only caught five of these legendary Pokemon because I didn’t want to take out Pikachu from my party.

  The reason for this is that there are several special events in the game where Pikachu will be needed. Surfing Pikachu – 013972d1This cheat code will ensure that your Pikachu will have the Surf ability which you can then use on the Surfing Pikachu mini-game. Breach game steam.

  First go to the trainer by the water on Route 24. Next when he sees you use teleport. Next go to the trainer with the level 17 Slowpoke. Before this make sure alll the trainers on the nugget bridge and Route 25 besides these are beaten. Then after the battle walk toward the bridge and the menu will appear press B.

  It will be a level 1 Mew catch it and put it up front. Now walk in the grass to find a pokemon.

  Once you do switch you mew out and send out another pokemon and kill the foe. Mew doesn\'t go up to level 2 he goes down to level 100. To get mew through a glitch, you should not have defeated the youngster with the slowbro near bill\'s house or the gambler between lavender and celadon yet. Also you must have FLY.

  Make sure you have a weak pokemon below or on lvl 7. Go through the underground passage just outside celadon city. As soon as you exit DON\'T MOVE. Save the game then walk one step down and IMMEDIATELY press start - if done correctly the gambler will not see you. In the start menu go to a flying pokemon and fly to cerulean city.

  The gambler will now have noticed you. In cerulean the start won\'t work because it thinks you are in battle go over nugget bridge and find the youngster with the slowpoke don\'t walk directly at him or the game will crash let him walk to you. Defeat him and go to Lavender town. Go to route 8 where the gambler is and the START screen will automatically appear press B and you will find a battle. It will be MEW. Catch him and he is yours. When you\'re in Lavender Town and in the Poke\'monTower, wild spirits pop up anywhere exept thefirst floor.

  You won\'t be able to battle them -if you try, it just says \'- was too scared toattack\' and the spirit will say \'Get out, getout\' All you can do is run away. These areactually Wild Gastly, but they won\'t appear likea Gastly without a Silph Scope. To get this, gothe the town west of Lavender (Celadon), and goto the game corner. Go inside and go the the backwhere the Rocket is standind in front of a posterthing. Talk to him and when he walks away, clickon the thing on the wall. It\'ll say \'Push theswitch?\'

  Or something like that, then a staircasewill appear to the right. Make sure you\'rePoke\'mon are strong (like:L20 or so) and battleall of the rockets and collect the items andyou\'ll find them all if you just explore alittle. Finally when you\'re done beating all theRockets and you get the Lift Key, go to theelevator where it needs a key.

  Go on the hiddenfloors and battle those there. On the B6, whenyou step out of the elevator you will run intoTeam Rocket and a:L25 Koffing,:L25 Ekans, anda:L25 Meowth. When you beat them, go ahead andGiovanni is there. Beat him and get the SilphScope.

  Then go to Mt. Moon and beat thetrainer. Then take the opisite fosil off wich youtook in your previously saved game. Then go toitems and move the fossil to the seventh spot andsave but when it says saving. Turn the power offand on then acess continue and you should haveboth fossils in your items.
