Hi All,I'm trying to build a witch Xena deck but I'm not sure the best way to go about it. I really like the idea of comboing her with Sleepwalking since I happen to have pulled both cards from the same booster! I'm not sure what the rest of my build should be though. Here is what I have.I am not very tied to this deck other than what I've already mentioned. I realize Golden Clown may not be the best cheap gold creature but I don't have a lot of choices anymore since Nexon locked me out of my account a month ago and I had to start from scratch:(Any tips on how to improve the deck are highly appreciated! Even if you tell me to scrap most of it in favor of a better idea.In fact, I'd also welcome tips on PLAYING the deck (in addition to building).
For example, my thought is that its best to use the cheap creatures / removals early on until there are several enemy creatures on the board and several in the grave before playing Xena. Then I should be able to Atone my own grave costs away and play her. Another thing that I feel is a good strategy in theory is to hypnotize a somewhat useless enemy creature at level 1 (or maybe even level 2) while the hypnotize card's cost is still pretty low, hoping that the enemy won't kill their own hypnotized creature before I can get Xena out later in the game so that she can't be killed before she works her magic. These are theoretical thoughts, though. I'm not sure if they are the best plan practically speaking.Edit: I should probably clarify this is a PVP deck. I don't think it would work very well in PvG, especially with sleepwalk. Hey, SlothMoth.
I understand that Xena is a powerful card and it's one of the most played WNB card so far. The idea of hypnotizing enemy creature usually synergize well with Seeker: Neriva's ability and you might want to consider that. The following three decks made it to the Top 10 with Xena and Neriva. These are quite awesome decks in my opinion and you might get some idea how the meta for Xena and Neriva is going. The purpose of Neriva is basically to keep Xena survives. In PvP, I faced the combo of that two most of the time.
I couldn't think of any other way to effectively use Xena.(Rank 7, Round 118). Hmm, I am interested in running something like that first deck. Unfortunately I don't have Orperia or Scathatch (I did on my old account. Which they claim they are still working on). I am trying to replace Scathatch with a Beaskin.
I have most of them.Beastkin Obi is interesting because he basically auto-kills a hypnotized creature every turn, but that isn't neccesarily a good thing because those keep Xena alive. However, Nevia will also help keep Xena alive as well. Beaskin: David is the cheapest option obviously.Edit: I guess Beastkin: David is also better because he transforms more often, charging Nevia up.I'm just hoping that the Orperia is like icing on the cake because I don't have much that I can replace her with.
I also don't have book of knowledge, which is in decks that run light mana dark. Hopefully the cat will trade it to me soon.
Wielding two weapons at once requires a high level of attention and dexterity, as well as ambidextrous coordination. Keep training Dual Wield Mastery to use two weapons efficiently and effectively.
